How to get here
TGV Fast Trains
TGV is the French fast train Service that can take you, at a speed of 300 km/h, to more than 230 French destinations and beyond.
TGV is well connected to a large network of European fast trains like Eurostar, Thalys, Artesia Elipsos etc.
These fast trains are offering good value fares to compete with the cheap airlines.
This combination of speed and low fares are making rail travelling a good option to come to the French Pyrenees.
Our nearest main SNCF (French national railway company) train station is Pau which is conveniently serviced by TGV!

Oloron Station
At Oloron Sainte-Marie there is a SNCF bus shuttle, just outside the station, that follows the RN 134 international road all the way up the valley to Canfranc (on the Spanish border).
Obviously don’t go all the way to Canfranc, but get off at the viaduct d’Escot which is just before the property.
(If you ask nicely it might stop just outside the property).
Oloron to Fountains Of Escot is approximately 15 min.
We have a large sign, on the right hand side of the RN 134, indicating the entrance to Fountains Of Escot.
